A Sky Exch 247 ID is your own account on Sky Exchange, and you get it by messaging the desk on WhatsApp with your name and mobile number. The desk replies in that chat with a user ID and a temporary password. You sign in, change the password, and the same Skyexch ID then works on the website and the Android app for cricket, football, tennis, horse racing and casino games. The "247" is about when you can use it. A test in Australia starts before sunrise here, a European football night ends after midnight, and one ID covers all of it.
That's the short answer. The rest of this page is the long one, written by the people who open these IDs every day. It covers what to send, what not to send, how a demo ID differs from a real one, what a first session actually looks like in rupees, and what to do when something about your ID goes sideways. If you already have your details and just want to sign in, our Skyexch login guide is the page you need.
What "Sky Exch 247" actually means
People type "sky exch 247" into search for a few different reasons, and it helps to separate them. Some want to know if there's a special type of account called 247. There isn't. Some want an ID they can use late at night. Some have heard a friend say "get a 247 ID" and are repeating the phrase.
What they all mean in practice is the same thing: a personal Sky Exchange ID that isn't tied to office hours. Sport doesn't stop at six in the evening. A Caribbean T20 league can run deep into the Indian night. Horse racing in other countries fills the afternoons. Casino tables are on whenever you open them. A Sky Exchange 247 ID is simply the account you use for all of it.
What the 247 doesn't mean
It doesn't mean every reply from the desk arrives in seconds at 3am. The ID and the markets are always there. People on the desk work shifts, and the queue gets longer around big matches. We'd rather say that plainly now than have you expect an instant reply during the last over of a final. If you want to know the current reply pattern, ask in the chat and the desk will tell you.
It also doesn't mean you should play at all hours. A round-the-clock ID is a convenience, not a dare. More on that at the end of the page.
What a Skyexch ID is, piece by piece
An ID is more than a username. It's the container for everything you do on the exchange. Knowing its parts makes the rest of this page easier to follow, and it'll make the desk chat smoother too.
The name you sign in with, chosen or issued by the desk. It's case sensitive, so type it exactly as sent. It never changes, so it's also how the desk finds your account when you need help.
The first password, sent in the chat once. You replace it on your first sign in, after which it no longer works. Nobody at the desk needs your new one.
The money in the ID. On a demo ID it's a practice figure. On a real ID it's what you've deposited plus or minus settled bets.
The most you can lose on bets that haven't settled yet. It's set aside from your balance, so you can't spend it twice.
The mobile number you used to open the ID. Messages from it are the quickest to verify when you need a reset, a deposit or a withdrawal.
The name you gave the desk. Withdrawals go to a bank account in this name, so give your real one.
Every other feature hangs off those six things. Markets, the app, deposits and withdrawals all work through the ID. That's why we keep repeating that it should be in your own name, on your own number, used only by you.
Getting your Sky Exchange 247 ID, step by step
The whole thing happens in one WhatsApp chat. Here's the sequence as it usually runs, with notes on where people get held up.
- Pick the phone you'll keep
Use the mobile number you plan to keep for the long run. It becomes your registered number. Changing it later is possible, but it's an extra step every time you need help.
- Message the desk on WhatsApp
Use the button on this page. Say you'd like a Sky Exch ID, and give your name and the mobile number. If you want a demo first, say so in the same message.
- Wait for the reply in the same chat
The desk works through messages in order. If there's a wait, they'll say so. Sending three more messages doesn't move you up the queue, it just adds to it.
- Receive your user ID and temporary password
They arrive in the chat, along with the login address. Read them carefully. Check for capital letters, zeros and ones.
- Sign in and change the password
Open the login address from the chat or the app, sign in with the temporary password, and set a new one when asked. Our login guide covers this step in detail.
- Arrange a deposit if you're going real
For a real ID, ask the desk in the chat about a deposit by UPI or bank transfer. They share the current details there. On a demo ID, you can skip this and start practising.
- Open your first market
Start with something you understand, such as match odds on a game you're watching. Keep stakes small on day one while you learn how the screen reacts.
Nothing in that list asks for a card number, a bank PIN or an OTP. Keep it that way. If a chat claiming to be the desk asks for any of those to "open" or "activate" your ID, it isn't the desk.
Get your Sky Exch 247 ID on WhatsApp
Send the desk your name and mobile number. Your user ID and temporary password come back in the same chat. Ask for a demo ID if you would like to practise first.
Message the deskDemo ID or real ID: which to ask for first
Both sign in the same way and show the same markets. The difference is what's behind the balance. A demo carries a practice amount that can't be withdrawn. A real ID holds money you've deposited.
| Question | Demo ID | Real ID |
|---|---|---|
| How to get it | Ask the desk for a demo in the chat | Ask the desk for an ID with your name and number |
| What is the balance | A practice amount set by the desk | Your deposits plus or minus settled bets |
| Can you withdraw | No, practice money only | Yes, to a bank account in your own name, via the desk |
| Markets available | The same screens and market types | The same screens and market types |
| Best for | Learning back, lay, fancy and sessions without risk | Playing with money you can afford to lose |
| Main risk | Getting overconfident from practice wins | Losing real money, so set a budget |
Who should start with a demo
Anyone who has never laid a bet. Anyone who's only used fixed-odds sites and has never seen a back and lay ladder. Anyone who wants to see how fancy and session markets behave during a live innings before putting money on one. A demo lets you make the classic beginner mistakes, like laying at a high price without reading the liability, and learn from them for free.
Who can go straight to a real ID
Fans who've used exchanges before and understand liability. Even then, a small first deposit and small first stakes are sensible, simply because every exchange screen looks a little different and the first evening is partly about learning where things are.
If exchange maths is new to you, give our page on how Sky Exchange odds and lay liability work twenty minutes before you open a demo. You'll get much more out of the practice balance.
What to send the desk, and what never to send
The desk needs very little to open an ID. The list of things you should never send is longer, and it's worth reading even if you think you know it, because the people running fake chats count on someone being in a hurry.
| Send this | Why the desk needs it |
|---|---|
| Your full name | It becomes the name on the ID, and withdrawals go to an account in this name |
| Your mobile number | It becomes your registered number for resets and verification |
| Demo or real | So the desk opens the right kind of ID first time |
| Your user ID, once you have one | So the desk can find your account when you ask for help |
| Never send this | Why |
|---|---|
| Your current Skyexch password | The desk never needs it after the temporary one is changed |
| Any OTP from your bank or phone | An OTP lets someone act as you on another service |
| Your UPI PIN or ATM PIN | Nobody needs your PIN to send you money or receive yours |
| Full card numbers and CVV | Deposits are by UPI or bank transfer arranged in the chat |
| Remote access to your phone | Screen sharing apps let a stranger use your phone as if they held it |
If a request ever falls in the second table, stop and check with the number you first used to open your ID. Our page on Skyexch account safety and spotting fakes lists the tricks we've seen people try, from look-alike profile pictures to "your ID will be blocked" threats.
Your first evening with a new Skyexch ID: a worked session
Here's a walk through a first session on a real ID, using illustrative numbers. None of these figures are limits, rates or predictions. They're here to show how the money moves so nothing on the screen surprises you.
Imagine you deposit an example ₹2,000 through the desk chat, and you're watching an evening T20. You've decided in advance that ₹2,000 is the most you'll put in this week, and that you'll stop for the night if the balance drops to ₹1,200.
| Moment | Your action (example) | Effect on the ID |
|---|---|---|
| Before the toss | Balance shows the example deposit | Balance ₹2,000, exposure ₹0 |
| After the toss | Back Team A for ₹200 at 1.80 in match odds | Exposure ₹200; if A wins, profit ₹200 × 0.80 = ₹160 |
| Powerplay | Back "over" on a session line for ₹100 at even money | Exposure rises to ₹300 in total |
| End of powerplay | Session settles; the line was not reached | Lose ₹100; balance ₹1,900, exposure ₹200 |
| Middle overs | Team A now trades at 1.50; you lay A for ₹240 at 1.50 | Lay liability ₹240 × 0.50 = ₹120; the two bets now offset |
| Match ends, A wins | Back pays ₹160 profit; lay costs ₹120 | Net +₹40 on match odds; balance ₹1,940 |
| Match ends, A loses (alternative) | Back loses ₹200; lay wins ₹240 | Net +₹40 on match odds; balance ₹1,940 |
Look at the last two rows. Because you backed at 1.80 and later laid at a shorter price with a slightly bigger stake, the match odds result is the same either way. That's a trade-out, and it's one of the things that makes an exchange different from a bookmaker. The session bet still lost ₹100, so across the evening you're down ₹60 on the example deposit. Real evenings won't line up this neatly, and plenty will end in a loss. The point is to see how each action changes exposure and balance.
If session lines and the bookmaker market are new to you, our guide to Skyexch cricket markets, fancy and session betting explains how they settle, which is the part most first-timers misread.

Using one ID round the clock, sport by sport
The 247 idea makes most sense when you look at the sports calendar from an Indian sofa. Different sports peak at different hours, and one ID follows all of them. Here's a rough map of when each tends to be busy. The exact schedule depends on the tournament and the season.
| Sport | When it tends to be busy for Indian viewers | Markets you'll see | Good first step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cricket in Australia and New Zealand | Early morning to afternoon | Match odds, bookmaker, fancy, sessions | Start with match odds while you learn session lines |
| Cricket in India and Asia | Afternoon and evening | Match odds, bookmaker, fancy, sessions | Read the session settlement rules before betting one |
| Cricket in England and the Caribbean | Afternoon to late night | Match odds, bookmaker, fancy, sessions | Watch for rain; read how a washout settles |
| European football | Evening to after midnight | Match odds, other standard football markets | Keep stakes small when you're tired |
| Tennis | Varies with the tournament's time zone | Match odds and set markets | Learn what happens to bets if a player retires |
| Horse racing | Varies with the country of the meeting | Win and place style markets | Short races; decide before the off, not during |
| Casino games | Whenever you open them | Table and card games | Set a time limit as well as a money limit |
Cricket is still the centre of it
For most of our readers, the ID gets opened for cricket and everything else is a bonus. A T20 league season can mean a match nearly every evening for weeks, and that rhythm is exactly where a round-the-clock ID earns its name. Our piece on following the IPL on Sky Exchange covers how markets behave across a long league season, without pretending to know fixtures or results.
Late nights deserve extra care
We'll say it without a lecture. Decisions made at 1am, after a long day, are worse than decisions made at 7pm. That's true for everyone, not just bettors. If you find most of your losses come in the small hours, the 247 part of your ID is working against you, and it's worth setting a cut-off time for yourself.
One ID on the website and the Android app
You don't need a separate account for your phone. The same user ID and password sign in on the website in any browser and on the Android app. Your balance, open bets and history are shared, so a bet placed on the app at the ground shows up on the laptop at home.
| Where | How to get there | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Website on a phone or laptop | The login address from the desk chat | Bookmark it rather than searching each time |
| Android app | Installed from the file the desk sends, version 1.9.5 | Your phone may ask to allow installs from that source |
| iPhone | Use the website in the browser | Add the bookmark to your home screen for quick access |
The app comes as a file rather than a store listing, which is why the phone asks for the "install unknown apps" permission. Our Skyexch app APK download page covers that permission, what to do if the install is blocked, and how to tell a genuine file from a copy someone forwarded in a group.
One habit to build early: if you use both, check open bets when you switch. It's easy to place a bet on the app, forget it, and then place a similar one on the website.
Money in and money out on your ID
Both directions run through the desk chat, which surprises people who expect a payment page inside the site. It's simple once you've done it once.
Deposits
Deposits are by UPI or bank transfer, arranged in the WhatsApp chat. Ask the desk to deposit, and they'll share the current payment details in the chat. Payment details can change, so use the ones the desk sends in that chat each time rather than a screenshot from last month. After you pay, confirm in the chat so the desk can credit your ID. Our Sky Exch UPI deposit guide goes through each step and the checks to make before you tap pay.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals are requested through the desk, and they go to a bank account in your own name. That's the main reason the name on the ID matters so much. An ID opened under a nickname, or in a cousin's name, turns a simple withdrawal into a long conversation. How long a withdrawal takes depends on checks, bank timings and the queue, and the desk confirms the expected timing in the chat. Our page on Skyexch withdrawal time explains what speeds a request up and what slows it down.
Six checks for a new ID
- You have signed in and changed the temporary password.
- You are on your real ID, not the demo.
- The name on the ID matches the name on your bank account.
- You are paying from an account or UPI in your own name.
- You are using payment details sent in the desk chat today.
- You have decided the most you will deposit this week.
Ready to fund your new ID?
Message the desk in your WhatsApp chat to arrange a UPI or bank transfer deposit. The current payment details are shared there.
Message the deskThree readers, three ways to start with an ID
Every new ID starts a little differently. These three composite scenarios are drawn from the kinds of chats the desk has every week. Names are left out on purpose. Pick the one closest to you and borrow its order of steps.
The first-timer who has only watched cricket
He knows the game inside out but has never seen a lay button. He messages the desk for a demo ID, spends two evenings backing and laying match odds with the practice balance, and deliberately tries a lay at a high price to see what liability looks like. Only then does he ask for a real ID, deposits a small amount through the chat, and sticks to match odds for the first week. Fancy and session markets wait until he's read how they settle.
The switcher who already uses another exchange
She understands back, lay and trading out. Her questions are practical: how deposits work, where withdrawals go, and if the app runs on her phone. She asks for a real ID straight away, installs the Android app from the desk file, and checks that the name on her ID matches her bank account before she deposits anything. Her first evening is about learning where the buttons sit, so she keeps stakes small even though she knows the maths.
The night owl who follows football and racing
Most of his betting happens after 10pm, which is exactly when replies from the desk can be slower. So he sorts his ID, password change and first deposit in the early evening, when the queue is shorter, and has everything ready before kick off. He also sets himself a cut-off time, because he's noticed his worst decisions come after midnight. The round-the-clock ID suits him, as long as he's the one deciding when the clock stops.
| Starting point | Ask the desk for | First markets | Read first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Never used an exchange | Demo ID, then real ID | Match odds only | Beginners guide |
| Used another exchange | Real ID | Match odds, then bookmaker | How to compare exchanges |
| Plays mostly late at night | Real ID, set up early in the evening | Whatever you know best | Responsible play |
Doubts people raise before opening an ID
We hear the same handful of questions before almost every new ID. They're fair questions. Here are honest answers, including where the honest answer is "it depends".
"Why WhatsApp and not a sign up form?"
Because a person checks each request. A form can be filled by a bot a thousand times a minute. A chat with the desk means a human sees your name and number, opens the ID, and is reachable in the same thread when you need a reset or a withdrawal later. The chat becomes your support history.
"How do I know the chat is really the desk?"
Start from a source you trust, such as the button on this page, and keep using that same chat. Don't switch to a new number because someone messaged you first. Our account safety page covers the look-alike tricks in detail.
"What if I lose money?"
You might. Betting on sport involves risk, and nobody can promise you'll come out ahead. That's why we keep suggesting a budget you decide before you start, small stakes on day one and a demo for anyone new to exchanges. If losing a certain amount would hurt your month, don't deposit it.
"Is it allowed where I live?"
Indian states treat online betting differently, and some restrict it. We can't give legal advice, and we won't pretend there's one answer for the whole country. Check the rules in your state before you open an ID.
"Can I just try it without depositing?"
Yes. Ask for a demo ID. It's the best way to find out if exchange betting suits you before any money moves.
The best time to set your limits is before the ID arrives. Once a match is on, everyone thinks they'll stop after the next over.
When something goes wrong with your ID
Most ID problems fall into a few patterns. This table lists the ones we sort most often, with the first thing to try yourself and when to bring in the desk.
| Problem | Likely reason | Try first | When to message the desk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Desk reply not arrived yet | Queue is busy, often before big matches | Wait; don't send repeat messages | If it's been a long while, send one polite follow-up |
| Temporary password rejected | Typo, capital letter or copied space | Type it by hand, check case | If it still fails after careful typing |
| Balance shows a large round figure you never paid | You signed in to the demo ID | Check which user ID you used | If you're unsure which ID is which |
| Deposit sent but not credited | Desk hasn't matched it yet, or reference missing | Confirm the payment in the chat with time and amount | Straight away, in the same chat |
| Available amount lower than balance | Exposure from open bets | Open the bets list and check open markets | If no bets are open and the figure still looks wrong |
| Name on bank account differs from name on ID | Nickname or another person's name used at opening | Nothing to try alone | Before you request a withdrawal |
| Changed phone number | Old number no longer yours | Message from the old number if you still can | As soon as the number changes |
| Someone else used your ID | Password shared or session left open | Change your password at once | Immediately, from your registered number |
When you do message the desk, put your user ID in the first line, then the problem in one sentence. A screenshot of the error, cropped so nothing private shows, saves a round of questions.
Keeping your Skyexch ID in your name and under your control
An ID that's yours on paper but used by three people isn't really yours. These habits keep it clean, and they protect your withdrawals more than anything else on this page.
One person, one ID
If a friend wants to play, they get their own ID from the desk. Sharing creates arguments about who placed which bet, and it can stall withdrawals because the money has to go to the name on the ID.
Never buy or rent an ID
Ready-made IDs are sold in groups and on social media. They're registered to someone else's name and number. That person can reset the password and take the balance whenever they like, and you'd have no way to prove the money was yours.
Keep the registered number current
Your number is how the desk recognises you. If it changes, tell the desk before the old SIM is gone. A lost number at the same moment as a lost password is the hardest situation to untangle.
Change your password if anything feels off
You don't need proof. If you think someone saw you type it, or you signed in on a shared computer and forgot to log out, change it. It takes a minute.
| Habit | What it protects |
|---|---|
| Real name at opening | Your withdrawals, which go to an account in that name |
| Your own number | Password resets and verification |
| Unique password, never shared | Your balance and bets |
| Logging out on shared devices | Your account from the next person to use the device |
| Using only the desk chat you started | You from fake chats and look-alike pages |
18+, state rules and setting your own limits
You must be 18 or older to open a Sky Exch 247 ID. Online betting laws vary across Indian states, so check the rules where you live. Nothing here is legal advice.
Beyond the rules, the most useful thing you can do is decide your limits before you need them. A weekly deposit budget. A stop-loss for each session, like the ₹1,200 floor in the worked example. A time you close the app, even on a night when a match runs late. Write them down somewhere you'll see them.
Set these before the first deposit
- The most you will deposit in a week.
- The balance at which you stop for the night.
- The latest time you will place a bet.
- The markets you will stay away from until you understand them.
- The person you will talk to if betting stops being fun.
If you want a break, the desk can pause or close your ID when you ask. Our responsible play page lists more practical steps and where to find support. New to all of this? The Skyexch beginners guide is the gentlest place to start, and you can contact Nordquill if something on this page isn't clear.
Ask the desk for your Skyexch ID
Message on WhatsApp with your name and mobile number. Want to learn first? Ask for a demo ID with a practice balance.
Message the deskThat's the Sky Exch 247 ID from first message to first session. Open it in your own name, change the password straight away, practise on a demo if you're new, and keep the chat with the desk as your one line of help. Do those four things and your ID will be there for whichever match is on, at whatever hour it starts.
Questions readers ask
What is a Sky Exch 247 ID?
It is your personal account on Sky Exchange, opened by the desk over WhatsApp. The 247 part refers to the fact that the ID can be used at any hour, because markets run across many sports and time zones. One ID covers cricket, football, tennis, horse racing and casino games, on the website and the Android app.
What do I need to send to get a Skyexch ID?
Your name and your mobile number, sent to the desk on WhatsApp. That is all the desk needs to open the ID. The desk replies in the same chat with a user ID and a temporary password. Do not send card numbers, bank PINs, OTPs or photos of your documents unless the desk asks for a specific check and explains why.
How long does it take to get my ID?
It depends on how busy the desk queue is when you message. The desk tells you in the chat if there is any wait. Sending your name and number clearly in the first message, from the phone number you want linked to the ID, usually keeps it to a short exchange rather than a long one.
Can I try a demo ID before a real one?
Yes. Ask the desk for a demo ID and it comes with a practice balance. You can place back and lay bets, open fancy and session markets and learn the screens without risking money. When you are ready, ask for a real ID. The practice balance cannot be withdrawn or moved to a real ID.
Does the desk really answer at any hour?
The ID itself works at any hour on the site and app. Desk replies depend on who is on shift and how many messages are waiting, so a message in the middle of the night may take longer than one in the evening. The desk confirms its current reply times in the chat if you ask.
Can I have more than one Sky Exchange 247 ID?
One ID per person is the clean way to play. It keeps your balance, bets and withdrawals in one place and in one name. If you think you need a second ID for some reason, ask the desk first and explain why. Opening extra IDs in other names causes withdrawal problems later.
Can I open an ID for a friend or family member?
No. Each person should message the desk from their own number and open their own ID. Withdrawals go to an account in the name on the ID, so an ID opened for someone else in your name, or the other way round, creates confusion over who owns the money and who placed which bets.
How do I deposit into my new ID?
Deposits by UPI or bank transfer are arranged in the WhatsApp chat with the desk. The desk shares the current payment details in the chat each time, and you confirm the transfer there. Our UPI deposit guide on this site goes through the steps and the checks to make before you pay.
How do I withdraw from my Skyexch ID?
Request it through the desk. The money goes to a bank account in your own name, the same name as on the ID. Timing depends on checks, banking hours and the queue, so the desk confirms the expected timing in the chat. Our withdrawal guide explains what can slow a request down.
Is a Skyexch ID the same on the app and the website?
Yes. Sign in with the same user ID and password on either. Your balance, open bets and history are shared. The Android app is installed from a file the desk sends, and your phone may ask you to allow installs from that source the first time.
What happens to my ID if I stop using it for a while?
Ask the desk if you plan a long break, and ask about your balance before you go. If you come back after months away and cannot sign in, message the desk from your registered number with your user ID. Avoid opening a fresh ID in the meantime, as two IDs in one name only complicates things.
Someone is selling ready made Sky Exch IDs online. Should I buy one?
No. An ID bought from a stranger is tied to their name and number, not yours. They can reset it, empty it or claim the money later, and withdrawals to your account will not match the name on the ID. Get your own ID from the desk directly so it is in your name from day one.
Can I pause or close my ID if I want a break from betting?
Yes. Message the desk and ask for your ID to be paused or closed. You can also ask for a break of a set length. Our responsible play page lists other steps that help, such as deposit budgets and keeping betting apps off your home screen.
Is it legal to use a Sky Exch 247 ID in India?
Rules on online betting differ from state to state in India, and some states restrict it. Check the law in your own state before opening or using an ID. This page is not legal advice. You must be 18 or older to open an ID, and the desk can refuse anyone who is not.
